5th Annual General Meeting

Meet at Black Bull, Hall Lane, Mawdesley (SD 499 151)
9.45am for 10am Start
NOTE: park on the top car park on right hand side behind pub

The route has now beem finalised (I've walked it at last - well most of it) but will be roughly 9 ish miles. Fairly easy terrain with some easy ascent,

Add comments on here if you are attending both the WALK and the MEETING or just coming over for the MEETING alone.

A hot Pot will be provided, but can you let me know if you require a vegetarian option or other dietary requirement. Feel free to drop me an email direct.

If you are approaching from the M6 Jct 27 taking the B5209 to Parbold. as you go down Parbold Hill take a right onto the B5426 - you may see a sign say road is closed ahead - IGNORE THIS and go round the sign continue on the B5426, but do not turn off to Rufford. Continue until Maltkiln Lane, which becomes High Street through the middle of Mawdesley. Continue on and the road becomes Hall Lane. The Black Bull is about 1/2 mile from the village centre on your left. Park in the top car park.
The road closure is at Rufford so does not affect you.
